ORDINANCE N0. ~ ~ _ Z~ <br />AUTHORTL ING THE DIRECTOR OF LAW OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />TO EMPLOY SPECIAL COUNSEL TO ASSIST HIM IN THE PROCEEDINGS <br />LOOKING TO THE ISSUANCE OF MUNICIPAL BUS PURCHASE NOTES <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIZ OF THE CITY OF P10R<PH OLMSTED, OHIO: <br />Section 1. That the City Solicitor be and he is hereby authorized to employ <br />the law firm of Squire, Sanders & Dempsey, of Cleveland, Ohio, Municipal Bond Attorneys, <br />to assist him in the preparation of requisite legislation and taking of the necessary <br />proceedings for the issuance of $53,900 Municipal Bus Purchase Notes for the <br />purpose of purchasing "r~ W ~ _ new municipal buses and equipment necessary thereto <br />for use in the operation of the North Olmsted Municipal Coach Line, and furnishing <br />an approving opinion thereon. <br />Section 2. That for the services so to be rendered by said law firm a <br />fee now estimated at not to exceed $175 shall be paid by the City, together with <br />their out-of-pocket expenses for long distance telephone calls or otherwise, which <br />sum shall be paid from the proceeds of the aforesaid notes, if issued, and <br />otherwise from the general fund of the City. <br />Section 3. This ordinance is sieclared to be an emergency measure necessary <br />for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety of said <br />City and for the further reason that the legal services herein provided far <br />are necessary to the immediate acquisition and financing of the bus equipment <br />requisite to adequate operation of the Municipal Bus Line; wherefore, this <br />ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and immediately after its <br />passage and approval. ;~ <br />., <br />-__--- <br />Attest: ~}~ (~U'CR,X.. ~_~ <br />Clerk~f Council <br />G, ~~~ <br />~~~,°~; a.k..~.. <br />~~ ~~~ ~ <br />
