,/~ ~ ORDINANCE N0. ~~~ o~ I <br />C ~t ~-- <br />U 0 W OF THE CITX OF NORTH OLN~TED <br />AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR F LA <br />TO EMPLOY 5PECIAL COUNSEL TO ASSIST HIA~i IN THE PROCEEDINGS <br />LOOKING TO THE ISSUANCE OF SIDEWALK NOTES <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO: <br />Section 1. That the City Solicitor be and he is hereby authorized to <br />employ the law firm of Squire, Sanders & Dempsey, of Cleveland, Ohio, Municipal <br />Bond Attorneys, to assist him in the preparation of requisite legislation and <br />taking of the necessary proceedings for the issuance of $70,900 Sidewalk Notes <br />in anticipation of the issuance of bonds and of the levy and collection of <br />special assessments for the construction of certain sidewalks in said City, and <br />furnishing an approving opinion thereon. <br />Section 2. That for the services so to be rendered by said law firm a <br />fee now estimated at n6t to exceed $200 shall be paid by the City, together with <br />their out-of-pocket expenses for long distance telephone calls ox other rise, <br />which sum shall be paid from the proceeds of the aforesaid notes, if issued, <br />and otherwise from the general fund of the City, <br />Section 3. This ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure necessary <br />for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety of said <br />City and for the further reason that the legal services herein provided for <br />are necessary to the immediate financing of sidewalk construction necessary to <br />pedestrian safety and convenience; wherefore, this ordinance shall be in fall <br />force and effect from and immediately after its passage and approval. <br />~. <br />t <br />Attest: ~~ 1t.11r(~t N Q ~nl <br />~ ~~`'~ <br />a ~ ,, <br />~ '~~. <br />tt <br />
