CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 64-_~~ <br />BY ~ ' <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE AND PUBLIC SAFETY TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR <br />A COMPACT AUTOMOBILE AS A REPLACEMENT FOR THE <br />EXISTING BUILDING COMMISSIONER' S AUTOMOBILE, <br />AT AN ESTIMATED COST OF $2, 000.00, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Council has been advised by the Director of <br />Public Service and Public Safety that it is necessary that his department <br />purchase a compact automobile as a replacement for the existing Building <br />Commissioner's automobile, at an estimated cost of $2,000.00, for use <br />in the City of North Olmsted, and <br />WHEREAS, Council in order to facilitate the need of the <br />Building Commissioner in the City of North Olmsted desires to purchase a <br />compact automobile for the Building Commissioner. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />SECTION 1; That the Director of Public Service and Public <br />Safety be and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for a compact <br />automobile to be used by the Building Commissioner of the City of North <br />Olmsted, at'an estimated cost of $2, 000.00. <br />Section 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, <br />health, safety and welfare of the City: WHEREFORE, this Resolution shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the <br />earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED• ~ ' <br />/'Z Gam.- t c.. ~ " <br />Francis j.
