~~-,~~ CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION NO. 64-~a„~ BY ~~~ ~~~'~~ A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE NECESSITY OF CONSTRUE~TING CERTAIN SIDEWALKS IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, REQUIRING THAT ABUTTING PROPERTY OWNERS CONSTRUCT THE SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Citi~ of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: Section 1: That it is necessary to construct sidewalks in the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, in accordance with the plans, specifications and estimates of cost therefor prepared by the City Engineer and now on file in the office of the Clerk of Council and in the following locations: 1. Stearns Road from Olmsted Township to Lorain Road. 2. 1Vl~Kenzie Road from Olmsted Township to Lorain Road. 3. Kennedy Ridge Road from Butternut Ridge Road to Great Northern Boulevard. 4. Columbia Road (west side ~ from Butternut Ridge to a connection of existing sidewalks in the area of Columbia Road and Mastick Rd. 5. Columbia Road from Mitchell Drive to Lorain Road (west side.) 8. The unsidewalked area on the south side of Lorain Road from a point east of .Barton Road Easterly to the Fairview Park line. 7. The unsidewalked portions of the south side of Maple Ridge Road east of Walter Road to Clague Road. 8. The portions of Coe Avenue north of Elm Road that do not have sidewalks . Section 2: That the plans, specifications and estianate of cost for said construction as heretofore filed be and the same are hereby approved. Section 3: That the owners of all lots and land bounding and abutting upon the proposed sidewalks shall construct, in accordance with the plans and specifications now on file, the portion of such sidewalks abutting on their respective properties within a period of thirty (30) days after service of notice of the passage of this Resolution; and, if such construction shall not be completed within such period of thirty (30) days then this Council shall have the same done and the entire cost thereof shall be assessed upon the property of each defaulting owner and made a lien thereon, to be collected in the maneer provided by law, with penalty and interest as provided by law. Section 4: That the Clerk of this Council is directed to cause a written notice of the passage of this Resolution to be served as required ~~ by law. Section 5: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace , health and safety by v~tu~ of the need for the immediate construction of
