CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~~"~~ <br />BY <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLATION <br />OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON PERMANENT PARCEL N0. 33T-i.~g <br />BEING AN ASSESSMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A <br />WATER LINE AND DECLARING AN Ehi1rRGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Auditor of tha <br />City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the <br />the construction of a water line. <br />WHEREAS, Myron Philippbar of 2939 Walter Road <br />have paid the sum of $ 807.66 in payment of said special assessments, in ad~anGS, <br />for the tax years 19 64 through 19 72 inclusive, together with accrued (~ot~Napi>~ <br />levied thereon against Permanent Parcel No. 231-1-10 in the City of Ngrth <br />Olmsted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of NorKM <br />glmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section l: That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to cancel for the years 19 (~ through 19 72 inclusive <br />assessments in full for, construction of a water line. <br />Section 2: That the Director of Finance of the City. of North pirnsted <br />is hereby authorized and directed to receive payment in advance on such <br />assessments for the period 19 64 through 19 72 inclusive, amounting t4 <br />$ 807.66on said parcel. <br />Section 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward <br />an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, <br />Section 4: Wherefore, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health <br />and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtul~ <br />of the necessity of cancelling the special assessments on Permanent Parcel <br />No. 231-i-10 for construction of a water line <br />Section 5: Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately <br />frAm and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: , <br />Francis J.
