CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 64- ~'~ <br />BY <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A TRANSPORTATION ALLOWANCE <br />FOR THE USE OF PERSONAL AUTOMOBILES BY OFFICIALS <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLi~STED ON OFFICIAL BUSINESS, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, it has become necessary that officials of the <br />"`~ City of North Olmsted have had to use their personal autornobiies on official <br />business; and <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined by Council that there <br />will be use of personal automobiles on official business in the future; and <br />WHEREAS, Council has determined that in order to regulate <br />the use of personal automobiles on official city business that said use <br />should be authorized by the Mayor in writing; and <br />WHEREAS, Council has determined that the reasonable <br />value of the reimbursement to be paid to City officials using their automobiles <br />on official City business shall be eight cents (84) per mile. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the <br />City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That there is hereby established a trans~rtation <br />allowance for officials of the City of North Olmsted using their personal auto- <br />mobiles for official City business and that the amount of r#fursement and <br />the requirements to obtain reimbursement for the use of personal automobiles <br />shall be as follows: <br />A. That in order to be reimbursed for the use of personal <br />automobiles on official city business said use shall be <br />authorized by the mayor of the City of North Olmsted <br />in writing. <br />B. That the reimbursement for the use of pe~ssonal auto- <br />mobiles on official city business shall be at the <br />rate of eight cents ($~) per mile. <br />Section 2: That the transportation allowance herein <br />established shall go into effect as of the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />,.
