CITY OF NORTH OLMTED ORDINANCE NO. 64- BY ~ N ~ U(~~~t.G AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 5, C~iiAPTER 943, SECTION 943.06 ENTI'T'LED "INDNIDUAL GRAR~'E ~RtCE" kND 943.07 ENTITLED "RATES FOR OPENING AND CLOSING GRAVES." ""` WHEREAS, it had been determined by Council, that it is economically impossible for the City of North Olmsted to maintain the Coe Ridge Cemetery and the Butternut Ridge Cemetery on the income they are receiving from same, and WHEREAS, it is Council's intention that the income from the aforesaid cemeteries be more commensurate with the cost of operating said cemeteries . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio. Section. 7.: That Title 5, Chapter 943, Section 943.06 entitled "Individual Grave Price" and reading as follows; "The City shall charge and receive Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) for individual graves in Coe Ridge and Butternut Ridge Cemeteries . " be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "°~ Section 2: Title 5, Chapter 943, Section 943.06 entitled "Individual Grave Prlce" The City shall charge and receive Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for individual graves in Coe Ridge and Butternut Ridge Cemeteries. Section 3: That Title 5, Chapter 943, Section 943.07 entitle "Rates for Opening and Closing Graves." and reading as follows: "The rate for opening and closing graves shall be as follows: For adult graves $50.00 For infant graves 20.00 ~orashes 10.00" r be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 4: Title 5, Chapter 943, Section 943.07 entitled "Rates for Opening and Closing Graves . " The rate for opening and closing graves shall be Seventy-five Dollars ($75.00) . Section 5: Title 5 , Chapter 943 , Section 943.06 and Section 943.07 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, as originally passed be and the same are hereby repealed effective with the effective date of this ordinance. ~,.. , ,
