CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 64-»6 <br />BY ~ ` <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 'FIC CONTROL MAP AND <br />TRAFFIC CONTROL FILE BY DESIGNATING ON THE MAP A <br />NO PARKING ZONE ON A PORTION OF LORAIN ROAD, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined by Council that <br />traffic congestion exists between the Eastern edge of Coe Cemetery <br />and the Western edge of rayless Gas Station, located at 24046 Lorain <br />Road, both in the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, and <br />WHEREAS, said traffic congestion creates a hazard <br />to motorists using Lorain Road betty these points, and <br />WHEREAS, Council, concerned for the safety of <br />people living in the area and using the area, has determined that to <br />eliminate the hazard which exists, the parking of vehicles on both sides <br />of Lorain Road between the Eastern edge of Coe Cemetery and the <br />Western edge of the Payless Gas Station, 24046 Lorain Road, will be <br />prohibited. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINID by the Council <br />of the City of North Olmsted, State of F3hio: <br />Section 1: That the traffic control map (Codified <br />Ordinance 305.01) be amended by designating thereon that parking <br />is prohibited at all times on both sides of that portion of Lorain <br />Road which is described as follows: From the Eastern edge of Coe <br />Cemetery to the Western edge of the Payless Gas Station, 24046 <br />Lorain Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Section 2: That the traffic control file (Codified <br />Ordinance No. 305.01) be amended to record the designation of <br />the prohibition of parking at all times on that portion of Lorain <br />Road described in Section 1 hereof and that the Polic$ Department <br />post official signs or markings in the proper position on Lorain <br />Road. <br />Section 3: That a certified copy of this Ordinance be <br />delivered to the Polio Department of the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 4: That this Ordinance is hereby determined <br />to be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the <br />public welf are, peaeey health and safety of the City by virtue of <br />the existence of a dangerous condition requiring immediate regula- <br />tion; WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period <br />allowed by law, - ,~ ~ <br />f ~he~dly ~- ~to~sc.r:~ i~,19 (, ~; 3 ~(, ~ R4,rj <br />~t -~~ <br />PASSED : /LQ..~.-~C~a..c~ Q ~ ~j -'1 , _ , <br />Francis J.
