~""~ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 64- ~a <br />By ~Q ,. <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLU~'ION NO. 62-219 <br />ENACTED DECEMBER 18, 1962, " A RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SAFETY TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR TWO STOP LIGHTS FOR USE <br />AT DOVER CENTE~t AN D BUTTERNUT RIDGE ROADS AN D <br />PORTER AND BUTTERNUT RIDGE ROADS BOTH IN <br />ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATIONS NOW ON FILE IN <br />HIS OFFICE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." <br />WHEREAS, Council has heretofore passed Resolution No. <br />62-219 enacted December 18, 1962, authorizing the Director of Public <br />Safety to advertise for bids for two stop lights for use at Dover Center <br />and Butternut Ridge Roads and Forter and Butternut Ridge Roads both in <br />accordance with specifications in the files of the Director of Public <br />Safety, and <br />WIiEREAS, it was the intention of Council that. the Director <br />of Public .Safety be authorized to advertise for a stop light for use at <br />Porter and Butternut Ridge Roads and a stop light for use at Dover Center <br />and Butternut Ridge Roads and that incorporated in the light for use at <br />Dover Center and Butternut Ridge Roads would be a pedestrian walk light <br />which would be $m intrical part of said stop light. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of. North Olmsted, State of Ohio: . <br />Section 1: "That the Director of Public Safety be and he <br />is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for two step lights for use at Dover <br />Center and Butternut Ridge Roads and Porter and Butternut Ridge Roads both <br />in accordance with specifications now on file in his office . " <br />Be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Section 1: That the Director of Public Service and Public <br />Safety be and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for two stop lights, <br />one to be used at the intersection of Butternut Ridge and Porter Roads, and <br />the other to be used at the intersection of Dover Center and Butternut Ridge <br />Roads and that said light~be used at the intersection of Butternut Ridge <br />Road and Dover Center Road is to have incorporated in it a pedestrian walk <br />light which is an intrical part of said stop light. <br />Section 2: Resolution 62-219 is hereby repealed concur- <br />rently with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />Section 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, <br /> <br />
