<br /> <br />r <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~- <br />> -~ rr iyi <br />,,, <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE DUTIES AND COMPENSATION <br />OF THE CITY ENGINEER AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City is in need of an <br />Engineer, and <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined what the duties and compensation <br />are to be for:: the City Engineer, <br />WHEREAS, an Engineer has agreed to accept employment with the <br />City under the terms and conditions imposed by the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, County of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: The appointee as City Engineer for the City of North Olmsted <br />shall be a registered engineer under the Laws of the State of Ohio and be and <br />remain in good standing during the term of his employment. <br />Section 2: That the City enter into a contract with an Engineer, <br />who possesses the qualifications set forth in Section 1 above, and who <br />will agree to the terms and conditions imposed by the Contract attached <br />to this ordinance and marked Exhibit "A" and which contract becomes a <br />part of this ordinance as if fully rewritten hereto. <br />Section 3: That the City Engineer shall receive his retaining <br />fee as set forth in Exhibit "A" in twelve (12) equal installments payable <br />on the first day of every month, during his term of employment. <br />Section 4; This Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, saf ety and <br />welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue <br />of the necessity of making immediate provision for the retention of a <br />qualified Engineer for the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 5: Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take immediate effect <br />from and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />,i <br />Passed : ~ ~` ~~" ~", ! f' <br />ATT ES <br />t~ _. .~ <br />l ' <br />//'' <br />N.
