<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTEL <br />RESOLUTION NO. ~5 ~- ~~'~ <br />BY <br />A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE PUBLIC SERVICE <br />OF COUNCILMAN JAMES LEONARD, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, on tuber 31, 1 X65 , Councilman fames Leonard <br />cx~mpletes his term of office, and <br />WHEREAS, the period of his service was during a time of rapid growi:~. <br />of the City of North Olmsted when new and serious problems arose which <br />required Councilman Leonard to give unstinting of his time , judgment and <br />skill, and <br />WHEREAS, Ccyunc#~man Leonard served with distinction both as <br />Chairman and member of many important Committees of this Councile and <br />WHEREAS, the members of this Council are of the opinion that the <br />ualuable contributions of Councilman Leonard should be recognized with <br />sincere gratitude by both the officials and the citizens of the City of North <br />Olmsted; and <br />WHEREAS, Councilman Leonard willingly contributed his time and <br />skill to Comanunity projects which were of great benefit to the citizens of <br />North Olmsted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Gity of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section is That the minutes of this Council show the gratitude and <br />appreciation of the Citizens of North Olmsted, its administrative officers and <br />the members of this Council to Tames Leonard for his years of devoted publi~° <br />service to the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 2: That the Clerk of Council be, and is hereby directed <br />to send to Councilman James Leonard a Copy of this Resolution. <br />Section 3: That this R,ssolution is declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health <br />and safety of said Gity. WHEREFORE, this Resolution shall take effect. and. <br />be in force immediately upon its passage, otherwi.se,at the earliest period <br />allowed by law . <br />Margaret T. West.
