Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section l: `T`hat Section 529.01 of the Forth Olmsted <br />General Offenses Code reading as follows: <br />" 529.01 PERMITTING MINORS TO PLAY BILLIARDS OR <br />POOL . <br />No owner or keeper of a billiard saloon or owner or keeper <br />of a billiard table at any other public place shall. permit a <br />minor under the age of eighteen years to play billiards or <br />pool or be and remain in such saloon or public place. <br />(ORC 2903.021'.. <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />^29.01 PERMITTING MINORS TO PLAY BILLIARDS OR <br />POOL, <br />No owner ar keeper of a billiard parlor or owner or keeper of <br />a billiard table at any other public place shall permit a minor under the <br />age of eighteen years to play billiards or pool, or be and remain in such <br />parlor or public place. Provided, a minor under eighteen years of age, <br />when accompanied by eitr.er parent or his legal guardian, may be permitted <br />to play both billiards and pool, ar be and remain in such parlor or public <br />place. And, provided further, that an adult person, who is in charge of a <br />group of minor children under the age of eighteen years, may bring such <br />group into a billard or pool parlor for the purpose of permitting them to <br />play both billiards and pool and such group may be permitted to play bath <br />billiards and pool or be ir, and remain in such a parlor or public place so <br />long as they remain under tlxe supervision and control of such adult persorx. <br />(ORC 2.903.02) <br />Section 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of <br />the public peace, health, safety and welfare by virtue of the fact that <br />Section 529.01 prior to this amendment is in conflict with provisions <br />of the State Statutes, enacted t,y the 1965 State Legislature, W1-iEREFORE, <br />
