V+~'HERF_AS, Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the City of North Olmsted that the North Olmsted Traffic C.;ade be reviewed to eliminate any conflicts with. provisions of the State Statutes, as enacted by the 19b5 State Tegislature. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Qhio: Section 1 : That Section 3U I. 35 of the T4Torth Olrristed Traffic Cade reading as follows: ` "Through street or highway" shall T~~ean every street or highway ar portion thereof at the entrance to which vehicular traffic from intersecting streets and highways is required by law to stop before entering ar crossing the same except as provided in Section 313. OZ. " be and the same is hereby arr7er;ded to read as follows: 301. 35 THROUGH STREET OR~ HICGHI/1AY, -Through street or highway" means every street or highway a.s provided in Section 313. 02 (ORC 4511. O1 (FF)} Section L: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for th.e immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare by virtue of the fact that Section 3Ui, 35 prior to this amendment is in conflict with provisions of the State Statutes, enacted by the 1gb5 State Legislature, WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in farce imiz~ediately> upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law.
