AN E[~IERGENCY. <br />V+~'HERF_AS, Council has determined that it is in the best <br />interest of the City of North Olmsted that the North Olmsted Traffic C.;ade <br />be reviewed to eliminate any conflicts with. provisions of the State Statutes, <br />as enacted by the 19b5 State Tegislature. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council <br />of the City of North Olmsted, State of Qhio: <br />Section 1 : That Section 3U I. 35 of the T4Torth Olrristed <br />Traffic Cade reading as follows: <br />` "Through street or highway" shall T~~ean every street <br />or highway ar portion thereof at the entrance to which <br />vehicular traffic from intersecting streets and highways <br />is required by law to stop before entering ar crossing the <br />same except as provided in Section 313. OZ. " <br />be and the same is hereby arr7er;ded to read as follows: <br />301. 35 THROUGH STREET OR~ HICGHI/1AY, <br />-Through street or highway" means every street or <br />highway a.s provided in Section 313. 02 (ORC 4511. O1 (FF)} <br />Section L: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure necessary for th.e immediate preservation of the <br />public peace, health, safety and welfare by virtue of the fact that Section <br />3Ui, 35 prior to this amendment is in conflict with provisions of the State <br />Statutes, enacted by the 1gb5 State Legislature, WHEREFORE, this Ordinance <br />shall take effect and be in farce imiz~ediately> upon its passage, otherwise, <br />at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: ~~~ ~~~ <br />Francis J.
