CITY OF NORTH OLMS TED ORDINANCE NO. 65- ~~~ BY ~ ~ -~ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO, 63-206 ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION FOR BUS DRIVERS OF THE NORTH OLMSTED MUNICIPAL BUS LINE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended an adjustment in the pay rate of the North Olmsted Municipal Coach Line; and WHEREAS, Council is desirous of making ar, adjustment in the compensation for bus drivers of the North Olmsted Municipal. Coach Line. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: Section 1: That Section ]. of Ordinance No. 63-206 presently reading as follows: "Section 1: That effective October 1 , 1963, compensation for bus drivers of the North Olmsted Municipal Coach Line shall be a s follows: (a) Any person employed as a bus driver with no previous experience ar with insufficient prior experience as a driver or operator of a public passenger bus shall be required to serve ones year as an apprentice . During such year such driver shall be paid, during the first three months of his apprenticeship, $2.25 per hour; during the second three months of his apprenticeship, $2.30 per hour; during the third three months of fiis apprenticeship, $2 ,. 35 per hour and for the final three months of his apprenticeship, $2.40 per hour. After having completed his one year apprenticeship he shall be paid as provided in Paragraph (b) herein. (b) All bus drivers other than apprentices (as set forth in Paragraph (a) herein) shall be paid at the rate of $2 , 45 per hour .
