E~~ - t~ ,~ <br /> <br />A RFS<)LUTION AUTHORI7..ING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PL'BLIC% SAFETYpSERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS <br />FOR T`~'VO STOP LIGHTS FOEt USE AT THE INTER` <br />S~'t"~TION OF LORAIN ROAD AND CANTERBURY ROAD <br />AND THE INTERSECTION OF LORAIN ROAD AND <br />BERKSHIRE ROAD, <br />WHEREAS, the Safety Committee has recommended that: two (2 <br />stop lights be installed at the intersection. of Lorain Road and C"anterba.~r~.y <br />Road and the intersection of Larair~ Road and Berkshire Rc}ad; Arad <br />WHEREAS, Council }°~as determined. that it wc~ulc} be trv1 the best <br />interests of the City of North Olmsted that: traffic lights ~,e installed at t}~ <br />intersection of Lorain Road and t;arterbury Road. ar.d the ?.n+=~rsection cif <br />Lorain. Road and Berkshire Roan. <br />NO`vV, THEREFORE, BF IT RESOI,VEU by the Council cif t'rie C"t-,~ <br />of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />. Section. 1.: That the Director of Public Safety-Set~a?_c.e i3e a~z~ h~~ <br />is hereby authorized to advertise far aids for two {21 stop lights far ~~se at <br />the intersection of Lorain Raad and CanterburT Road and the intersection <br />of Lorain Raad and Berkshire Road, both in accordance with ,Mpe^ifir:atir~ns <br />now on file in rri.s office <br />Section 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be a: <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the pr.rblie i~eace, <br />• health, safety and welfare of the City in that immediate steps must be <br />taken to expedite the flvw of traffic in the Cir_y of ?~Tarth t~lmsi:~~d. ~'VTIFREF~.~i~l~, <br />this Resolution shall take effect and be in farce irnmediately upon its <br />passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />~ ~ ~ ~;~ s- <br />PASSED: ~ !~ S <br />Francis ?.
