G -~' z ~, <br />BY ' <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLATION <br />OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON PERMANENT PARCEL NO. 231-21-?~!~ <br />BEING AN ASSESSMENT FOR ~ '~i~STit~,.'C;TIJ~~ ur' A <br />SAI~1T~ ~?~ SEIy'ER AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />• <br />WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Auditor of the <br />C rty of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the construction <br />of a sanitary sewer <br />WHEREAS, Edward and Lois :~:iilel' of 2ul?~ R~~aria Lane <br />have paid the sum of $ 7?~2,~2 in payment of said special assessments, in advencd, <br />for the tax years 19 66 throuyh l~ 8t; inclusive, together with accrued Int~re;t <br />levied thereon against Permanent Par~:el No. 2.31-21-~~; in the Clty of North <br />Olmsted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section l: That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to cancel for the years 19 !:~b through 19 811, inclusive <br />assessments in full for, sanitaz~ sewer constructior; <br />Section 2; That the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted <br />Is hereby authorized and directed to receive payment in advance on such <br />assessments for the period 19 bb throuyh 19 8!~ inclusive, amounting to <br />= 782,fa2 on said parcel. <br />Section 3; That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward <br />an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohip. <br />Section 4: Wherefore, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health <br />and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue <br />of the necessity of cancelling the special assessments on Permanent Parcel <br />No. 231-21-I1u for sanitar~~ sewer construction <br />Section 5; Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately <br />from and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />i <br />PASSED: <br />--~\ - e <br />Francis J.
