t~ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0, ~,,5- j$" ~ <br />BY <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLATION <br />OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON PERMANENT PARCEL N0, 235-13-99 <br />BEING AN ASSESSMENT FOR SEINER coNSrRUCTION <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />• <br /> <br />WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Auditor of the <br />City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the <br />construction of a sewer <br />WHEREAS, Robert and Joyce Martin of 5719 .Decker Road <br />have paid the sum of S 63,6l~ in payment of said special assessments, in adVaesc~, <br />fpr the tax years 1~ 65 through lg 66 inclusive, together with accrued Itttt'#~t <br />Levied thereon against Permanent Par~;el No. 235-13-99 in the City of MOrth <br />Olmsted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section l; That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is ~Y <br />authorized and directed to cancel for the years 19 65 through 19 bb inclusive <br />assessments in full for, sewer construction <br />Section 2: That the Director of Finance of the City of North Olr~tted <br />Is hereby authorized and directed to receive payment in advance on such <br />assessments for the period 19 G5 through 19 6E inclusive, amounting to <br />5 63,6l~ on said parcel. <br />Section 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward <br />an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. <br />Section 4: Wherefore, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an ' <br />,mergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health <br />and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue <br />of the necessity of cancelling the special assessments on Permanent Parcel <br />I'lo• X35-13-99 for sewer construction <br />Section 5: Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately <br />from and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: ~"~ <br />Francis J. 0'Ne' I, President o` Cc>utt~il <br />ATTEST: <br />~ ~~~ . <br />Margaret T.~ est Clerk of Council <br />APPROVED: /,t/~ ~°" ~ <br />,~ <br />~... ~ <br />,~~/ ~~p <br />~' ~ ~,~~' <br />ph Christman, Mayor ~~~ ~~>~,, <br />
