Q6 <br />OF THE CODIFIT,U ORI}INANCES OF THE CITY OF <br />N{~RTH OLMSTED ENTITLED, "EXHIHITINO QBSCENE <br />OR CORRUPTING MOTION PICTURES, " ANDDECLARING <br />AN EhIEFtGrENCY. <br />~Y~EREAS, Section 529.Ob of the North Olmsted General <br />O#tenses Coda of the City is patterned after Ohio Re wised Cods 2903. 11 <br />sasd <br />WHERE. the State Legislature has amended the statute <br />to provide that Ohio Revised Code 2903. 11 is now a felony, and <br />WHEREAS, Council has now determined that said ordinance <br />is no longer applicable, and <br />11iytEREAS, Council now wishes to repeal said ordinance. <br />. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of <br />the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That Section 529. D6 of the Codified Ordixaances <br />of theFity of Nsrth Olmsted entitled, "Exhibiting Obscene or Corrupting <br />Motion Pictures, " is hereby. repealed. <br />Section 2. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency nneasure necessary for the immediate pre:ervation of a public <br />peace, health, safety and welfare by virtue of the fact that the State Legis- <br />lature has now provided that Ohio Reviled Code 2903. 11 is a felony. <br />M/gEgEgORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and <br />after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: ~- <br />Francis J.
