<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORI3II+tANCE NO. 6s-_~~ <br />BY <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 525.04 <br />OF THE NORTH OLMSTED CODIFIED f)RDINAN+CE~t <br />ENTITLED, "LIQUOR CONSUMPTION IN MOTOR <br />VEHICLE" AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Council has determined that it is in the <br />best interest of the Gty of North Olmsted that the North Olmsted General <br />Offenses Code be reviewed to eliminate any conflicts with provisions of <br />the State Statutes . <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council <br />of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That Section 525.04 of the North Olmsted <br />Codified Ordinances reading as follows: <br />"525.04 LIQUOR CONSUMPTION IN MOTOR VEHICLE. <br />No person shall consume any intoxicating li~gvtor in a <br />motor vehicle. (SRC. 4301. b4; Ord. 454. Passed 3-20-34• ) <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />525.04 LIQUOR CONSUMPTION IN MOTOR VEHICLE. <br />No person shall consume any beer or intoxicating liquor <br />in a motor vehicle. (ORC 4301.64) <br />Section 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />public peace, health, welfare and safety by virtue of the fact that North <br />Olmsted General Offenses Code must not be in conflict with the State Statutes. <br />WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force Immediately <br />upon ite passage, otherwise at the earliest geriod allowed by law. <br />./ <br />PASSED: ,,,a~'~__-_ <br />Francis J.
