SWIMMING POOL <br />INSTITUTE, AND DECLAt'SNG ~ EMERGENCY. <br />WHEl~AB, the ~ ve Commfttse is pe~ssently considering <br />a h~siw 8rris~tew art turd#nance, and <br />WNAS, Co+~cil is concerned about the number of swimming pcx~ls <br />being ocnstt~cted in the City , and <br />'M~E~AB, the Natioa~sl Swimming Pool Institute does establish <br />satisfactory rainimu~m standards until such time as additional legislston <br />is prepared. <br />Nt3W, THEREPt7RE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, Stets of CRsio: <br />Section 1: That the minimum standards for public and semi-public <br />swimming pools pre}~arad by the National Swimming Pool Institute be <br />adapted as the Swimming Pool t)rdinance for the City of North Qlmsted, <br />Ohio, applicable to public and semi-public swimming pools . A copy of <br />such Code is attached hereto and made a part hereof . <br />Section 2s That this Oedinance is hereby determined to be an e- <br />nrsrgsrtcy measure nst~rssary for the pareservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare by virtue of the fact. that swimrninq pools ors presently <br />being constructed in the City of North Olmsted. <br />WHEREFORE, this O~linanc~ shall take effect and be in farms immed- <br />lately upon its passage, othmrarise, at the earliest period all+awad by law. <br />PASSED <br />Francis j.
