CITY OF NORTH, OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 65--~--- <br />BY ~ ~ <br />A RESQLUTIOI~t AUTHORIZIANG THE DiRECT°OR OF Pllz~~..;af: <br />SERzPICE ANA PUBLIC SAFETY TO ADVERTISE F`OR BIDS <br />• "SLURRY SEAL'" , AND DECLARING AN EMI~RGEI\i C Y. <br />WHEREAS, The Director of Public: Service and Public Safety, <br />has aelvised Council that in order to maintain some of the roads in the City ~+f <br />North Olmsted that said roads should be treated with a preparatior°i known <br />as "slurry seal", and <br />WHEREAS, Council has determined that the use of thy: <br />preparation known as "slurry seal" will act as a preventative maintenanc.~. <br />and will fill cracks in the asphalt roads and will preserve the service of said <br />roads thereby preserving the roads and enabling it to be maintenance <br />free for a longer period of time. <br />NOVA, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section l: That the Director of Public Service and Public <br />Safety be and he is hereby authorised to advertise for bids for "slurry seal" <br />treatment of certain roads within the City of North Olmsted in accordance <br />with the plena and specifications now on file in hie office. <br />Section 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure necessary for the prts~+rvation of the public peace, <br />health, safety and welfare of the City: WHEREFORE, this Resolution shall tale <br />effect and be in farce immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest <br />period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: ~ <br />Francis J.
