State of Ohio: <br />Section l: That Section 339.09 (a) of the North Olmsted. <br />Traffic Code. reading as i'ollows; <br />- "3 59.09 REMOVAL OF EXCESS I..O<~D; INFORM:'1TION AS <br />TO CONTENTS, <br />(a) Any police uf1'icer having reason to believe tha~the <br />. weight of a vehicle and its Ioad is unlawful may require <br />tl:e driver of such vehi:~le to stop and sabmit to a we ighing <br />of it by means of portabie or stationary scales and may <br />require that such. veal,:; le be dri~, en to tlic Nearest public <br />scales. <br />lNhenPVer such officer upon weighing a vehicle <br />' and load determines that the weight is unlawful, lie ma}- <br />require the driver to stop tl:e vehicle in a suitable place <br />and remain standing until such portion of the load is removed <br />~ as is necessary to reduce the gross weight of such vehicle <br />to the limit permitted.
