<br />1 <br />CI'T'Y OF NORTH OLM~"TED <br />ORDINANCE NO, 65-__ <br /> <br />e <br />BY '~ <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO, 61-143 <br />PASSED AUGUST 3, 1961, AND INCORPORATED IN <br />THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES PARTICULARLY TITLE <br />THREE, CHAPTER 913, SECTION 913.04, ENTITLED, <br />"SEWER CONNECTION REQUIRED'° AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, since the enactment of Ordinance No. 61.143 <br />Council has given further considerations to the requirements of owners of <br />any house, building, or property sued for human occupancy, employment, <br />recreation, or other purpose to make connection to the sanitary sewer systerri, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Council has determined that the sanitary sewer <br />to which connection is to be made is to be within 250 feet of a property line <br />of such house, building or other property used for human occupancy and <br />abutting on any other street, alley, or right of way within the City„ <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of <br />the City of North Olmsted, State of O:Zio: <br />Section l: That. Title Three, Chapter 913, Section 913.04 <br />presently reading as follows: <br />"913.04 SEWER CONNECTION REQUIRED. <br />Connection with the sewer is required by the owner of ariy <br />house, building or property situated within the City which <br />is used for human occupancy, employment, recreation or <br />other purposes and which is abutting on any street, alley <br />or right of way in which there is now or may in the future <br />have located therein a sanitary sewer, which is part of the <br />sanitary sewerage system of the City. The owner, at his <br />expense, shall install sanitary sewerage facilities therei:l <br />and connect such facilities directly with the sanitary <br />sewer forming a part of the sewerage system of the City. <br />Such connection by the owner of any such house, building <br />or property shall be in accordance with the provisions of <br />this chapter and shall be made within six months after <br />receiving official notice from the City to make connection <br />to thesanitary sewerage system of the City provided that <br />thesanitary sewer to which connection is to be made ~.s <br />within 150 feet of a property line of such house, building <br />or other property used for human occupancy and abutting <br />on any street, alley or right of way within the City, <br />Notice to make connection may be either by certified <br />mail or by residential service.
