C CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. ~ S -3 9 R BY AN ORDINAN E AUThIORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLATION OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON PERMANENT PARCEL N0. 233-21-42 BEING AN ASSESSMENT FOR PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR SANITARY SEWERS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Finance Director of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the preparation of plans and specifications for sanitary sowers, WHEREAS, Jeremiah E. Driscoll of 5442 Wellesley Ave. have paid the sum of ~ 5$.20 in payment of said special assessments, in advance, for the tax years 19 65 through 1979, inclusive, together with accrued interest levied thereon against Permanent Parcel No. 233-21-42 in the City of North Olmsted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: Section l: That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and ha is heraby authorized and directed to cancel for the years )9 65 through 1979, inclu=ivy assessments in full for preparation of plans and specifications for sanity ry- sewers. Section 2: That the Director of Finance of the City of North Ol~st•d is hereby authorized and directed to receive payments in advance on such assa~tsaMnts for the period 19 65 through 1979, inclusive, amounting to 3 5$,20 on said parcel. Section 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward a~ attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga Count , State of ~MttO. Section 4: Wherefore, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue of the necessity of cancelling the special assessments on Permanent Parcel No.233..21-42 for preparation of plans and specifications for sanitary sewers. Section 5; Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law.
