<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 66- 3 ~ y <br /> <br />BY <br />A R~SOLUTiON AMENDING RESOLUTION 63-163 <br />ENACTED JULY 16 , 19 63 , AND ENTITLED"A <br />RESOLUTION API~OVING FOR RECORD PURPOSES <br />ONLY, P'IN OAK SUBDIVISION, PROPOSED, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY", AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, Council of the City of North Olmsted by virtue of Resolution <br />No. 63-163 enacted July 16, 1963, accepted Pin Oak Subdivision, pmpoed, <br />for record purposes only, and said subdivision contains one street; Pin Oak Lane, <br />proposed; and <br />WHEREAS, Council of the City of North Olmsted by virtue of Resolution <br />No. 63-171 enacted August 13, 1963, requested the State of Ohio, Division of <br />Highways, to permit the reelocation of the access point to Brook Park Road to be <br />moved 708.74 feet East to permit access from Pin Oak Drive, said Pin Oak <br />Drive having a 70 foot right-of-way and 44 foot pavement; and <br />WHEREAS, Council of the City of North Olmsted by virtue of Resolution <br />No. 64-31 enacted February 4, 1964, amended Resolution No. 63-171 by adding <br />a paragraph absolving the mate of Ohio from liab111ty in the event tt~e teof <br />Ohio granted the new access point and closed the prior access point on Flaherty <br />Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, Council of the City of North Olmsted by virtue of Resolution <br />No. 64-180 enacted Septsrmber 1, 1964, amended Resolution No. 64-31 again <br />requesting the State of Ohio to relocate the access point on Brook Park Road <br />be moved 708.74 feet East and further again absolving the State of Ohio from any <br />liability incurred by reason of the relocation of the access point to Hrook Park <br />Road and stating that the right-of-way would be 80 feet with a 48 foot pavement; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 65-47 enacted February 16, 1965, <br />Council of the City of North Olmsted amended all prior resolutions and deleted <br />all mention of the name Pin Oak Lane and Pin Oak Drive, thereby changing the <br />name to Great Northern Boulevard containing a 80 foot right-of-way and a 48 <br />foal pavement; and <br />WHEREAS, the recorded plat of Pin Oak Subdivision approved for record <br />purposes only by Resolution No. 63-163 was never recorded; and <br />WHEREAS, subsequent changes have been made thereby necessitating <br />the drafting of a new plat and additional engineering; and <br />WriEREAS, Council has been advised by the Engineer that the new plat <br />now known as Great Northern Boulevard Dedication Plat No. 1 meets all of the <br />requirements of the Resolutions and Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted and <br />contains one street namely: Great Northern Boulevard; and <br />WEi EREAS, Council now wishes to accept the dedication plat of Great <br />Northern Boulevard No. 1, for record purposes only. <br /> <br />
