CITY c~F NORTH OLMSTED <br />'r' <br />ORDINAI'1CE NO. 66- ~~o( `; <br />BY ~, <br />AN ORDINANCE RECOGNIZING A GLAIM AGAINST <br />THE CITY AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT' THEREOF, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company has called to <br />the attention of the Finance Committee the fact that there was a mistake in the <br />® compilation of actual water use by the :great Atlantic ~ pa<_,ific Tea Company; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has reviewed the entire history of <br />-water consumption co*aeri.ng the periods from November 19~i~1 to November 19F~6, <br />and <br />' WHEREAS, the Finance Committee is of the opinion that there was an <br />error in the compilation c>f actual water use by the Great Atlant~~ & Pacific Tea <br />Company; and <br />WHEREAS, t:he Finance C7n-~mittee has recomme;~ded to Council that an <br />adjustment be made in money paid !~`•~' the ~areat Atlantic ~~ Pacific Tea Company <br />by authorizing a refund to the C-;re:,t Atlantic. ;4 Pacific Tea ~;c:n~pany in the amount <br />® of $230.00; and <br />W?-3EREAS, Council is of the opinion that it would be .just and proper <br />to make the suggested refund of $2;3h.00 to the Great Atlantic- ~~ Pacif.ic Tea <br />Company. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of. the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />® rit of north Olmsted is <br />Section l: That the Finance Director for the y <br />hereby authorized and directed to pay directly to the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea <br />Company the sum of 5236.00 < such payment to be made from the Sewer Revenue <br />Fund. <br />Section 2: That the Clerk <f ';council is hereby directed tc1 forward. a <br />' copy of this ordinance to the Director ~:,~ Finance for the ~%ity o~ ~c;r°th C,;1m~stE~ci. <br />Section 3: That this ordinance is hereby declared t< ~e ari emergency. <br />measure necessary for the immediate preser<~ation of the public peace, healthd <br />safety and welfare c>f tY:e City by virt~_ie of the immediate ,le~essitt; c'f correcting <br />the error made in the compilation of tre water use by the Gre<~t Atlantic ~ Pacific <br />Tea Co.
