<br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 66-299 <br />By: Mr. Mangani <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION 1 OF RESOLUTION <br />N0. b6-lflb $NACTED APRIL 19, 196h, ENTITLED <br />"A RESOLUTION AtITHORI?.ING THE DIRF;CTOR OF <br />PUBLIC SERVICE AND PUBLIC SAFETY TO ADVERTISE <br />FOR BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTT~N OF A SHELTER <br />HOt3SE AT THE CLAGIJF. PARK PLAYGROi?ND FOR Ah <br />AMOUNT Nt~T TO EXCEED $8,000.00'p, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bidder whose bid was accepting according to <br />Resolution No. 66-1©6 has asked that he he relieved of the contract <br />as he is unable to perform said contract; and ~ <br />WHEREAS, Council is of the opinion that it would be to <br />the best interests of the City that another bidder be obtained, <br />NOW, TIiEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of North 02~ted, State of Ohio:' <br /> <br />i <br />Section 1; That the Director of Public Service and <br />Public Safety be and he is hereby authorized to re-advertise <br />for bids for the construction of a shelter house at the Claque Park. <br />Playground in accordance with the plans and specifications now on <br />file in his office, for an amount not to exceed S8,OOt),00. <br />Section 2; This resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public <br />peace, health, safety and welfare of the Citv.
