G{p''a'6 <br />~~, ~, <br />BY v t. ~'L'L`~: 4 <br />AN ORDINANCE XUTIIORIZING AND DIRECTING 7HE CANCELLATION <br />OF SPECIAL ASSESShIENTS ON PERMANENT PARCEL. N0. 231-29-4 <br />BEING AN ASSESSMENT FflR <br />SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Auditor of the <br />Clty of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the <br />construction of a sidewalk <br />WHEREAS, Mr. li Mrs. Kelly ~~ 23753 Gessner Road <br />have paid the sum of ~ 40,$t~in payment of said special assessments, in advartC~~ <br />fOr the tax years 19 67 through Ig 68 inclusive, together with accrued tntere~t <br />levied thereon against Permanent Parcel No. 231-29-4 in the City of Ib rth <br />Olmsted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section l: That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hrt~-y <br />authorized and directed to cancel for the years 19 67 through 19 68, inelu~ive <br />•ssessments in full for, construction of a sidewalk <br />Section 2: That the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted <br />is hereby authorized and directed to receive payment in advance on such <br />assessments for the period 19 67 through 19 6$ inclusive, amounting to <br />= 40.84 on said parcel. <br />Section 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed Co forward <br />an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. <br />Section 4: Wherefore, this Ordinance is hereby declared to bt an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health <br />and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue <br />of the necessity of cancelling the special assessments on Permanent Parcel <br />No. 231-29-4 forconstruction of a sidewalk. <br />Section 5: Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately <br />from and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: <br />i <br />ATTEST: <br />Margaret T, t Clerk of Council <br />li-fltov Eo: ~ o/y/~ G <br />~. ,~ _ <br />slph Christman, Mayor <br />Y <br />A <br />f <br />~` <br />,, ~„ <br />J <br />President of Council <br />{~R,O TES <br />
