CITY Ol' NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 66- aZS~p <br />9Y ~ ____~_____ <br />AN ORDNANCE AUTHORIZING THE BUILDING C~IriMI <br />TO PROCEED WITH THE DEMOLI?ION OR RE3uit7VAL OF 1" <br />DWELLINGS ON PERMANENT PARCEL NO. 236-6-4, IA's! <br />ROAD, NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Ckdi»anw No. 1331.01- <br />1331.06 of the Oodified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, the ~ldinq <br />Commission has determined that abandoned dwellings at 2545! Lorain li~sd, <br />and also known as Permanent Parcel No. 236-6-4, the record title h4leis~rs <br />which are J. H. Brown and M. R. Glaser, is ones#e, dangerow to hus~r+n lids <br />and a hazard to the safety, health and public welfare of the City of North <br />Olmsted; and <br />WHEREAS, notice to repair, remove and demolish said buildts2s was <br />served by certified mail on said rocord title holders on June 7, 1965, csrdering <br />them to repair, remove or demolish said dwellings and to comaieaoe such <br />repair, removal or demolition within forty-eight hours of receipt of said notice, <br />. and <br />WHEREAS, said owners have failed within said time 11mit and up to <br />the present date to comply therewith. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That Council deems it necessary to p with tba <br />demolition and removal of the dwellings or accesscxy buildipgs at 254$9 Lt~stin <br />Road, North Olmsted, Ohio, also known as Perms Parcel NQ. 236-6-4 <br />owned by I. H. Brawn and M. R. Glaser, rrhQSe s~aitiiaq address is 3334 P~naspect <br />Avenue, Cleveland, Oh1o, by reason of the fad that said dwellings haw ~n <br />determined to be dangerous to human life and a ha~card to the pwblic safety, <br />health and welfare and that the cost of said demolition and removal be paid from <br />the general fund of the City of Narth Olmsted and charr~sd to the owner as a <br />special assessment or lien on said parcel of land, and assessed ar~i oollevted <br />in the manner of other assessments as provided by law. <br />Section 2: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward to <br />j. H. Brawn and M. R. Glaser, at 3334 Prospect Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio, a <br />copy of this ordinance. <br />Section 3: WHEREFORE, this ordinance shall take effect and be in <br />force at the earliest period allowed by Article IV, Section 12 of the Cheater of <br />the City of North Olmsted. <br />PASSED: ~ .,~._ <br />ATTEST: • <br />Margaret T.
