C I tY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />~, ,;~ 3 < <br />ORDINANCE NO ~ ~- <br />. <br />BY ,~ ~ .~; <br />i <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLATION <br />OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON PERMANEI~ PARCEL N0, 231-6-2g <br />BEING AN ASSESSMENT FOR PREPARATION OF PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS FOR SANITARY SEWERS, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY, <br />WHEREAS, special assessments have been cer.~fied by the Finance <br />Director of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County <br />for the preparation of plans and specifications for sanitary sewers, <br />WHEREAS, Arthur and Ellen Richter of 23211 Clifford Drive <br />have paid the sum of $ 47,5$ in payment of said special assessments, in <br />advance, for the tax years 1967 through 1979, inclusive, together with <br />accrued interest levied thereon against Permanent Parcel No. 231-6-29 <br />in the City of North Olmsted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section l: That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to cancel for the years 19 67 through 1979, inclusive <br />assessments in full for preparation of plans and specifications for sanitary <br />sewers . <br />Section 2: That the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted <br />is hereby authorized and directed to receive payments in advance on such assessments <br />for the period 19 67 through 1979, inclusive, amounting to $ 47.5$ on <br />said parcel. <br />Section 3o That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward an <br />attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, State of Ohio. <br />Section 4: Wherefore, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health <br />and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue of <br />the necessity of cancelling the special assessments on Permanent Parcel No.231-6-29 <br />for preparation of plans and specifications for sanitary sewers. <br />Section 5: Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately from <br />and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: <br />--f'6 <br />ATTEST: <br />M~r9aret T~ We t, Clerk of Council <br />IMPROVED: <br />/,LG /L L <br />Ralph Christman, Mayor <br />Francis J.
