<br />AN ORDNANCE ACCEPTING APPLICATION FOR ANNEKATION
<br />OF T~RITORY THAT IS ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS WITH
<br />THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED
<br />WHEREAS, a Petition describing territory sought to be annexed wad
<br />filed with the Board of C3ounty Commissioners of Cuyahoga County, Ohio; and
<br />WHEREAS, said petition was signed by a majority of adult freeholders
<br />rasidinq in the territory that is adjacent and contiguous with the City of
<br />North Olmsted, Ohio; and
<br />WHEREAS, said majority of adult freeholders rosiding in the terrify
<br />petitioned for the annexation of said territory to the City of North Olmsted; at+sf
<br />WHEREAS, the Boatel of County Commissioners has consic~red all
<br />the evidence in these proceedings and finds that said petition contains all matters
<br />required by law; and
<br />WH EREA$, Council is of the opinion that the annexing of the territory
<br />would be to the best interests of the citizens of the City of North Olmsted sihCe
<br />the aria involved would add substantially to the taxable income of the City of
<br />North Olmsted.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Gity of
<br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio:
<br />Section 1; That the application of a majority of adult freeholders
<br />residing in the territory petioninq far the annexation of the following deserib
<br />. territory in the County of Cuyahoga and adjacent to the City of North Olmsted,
<br />to-twit:
<br />"Parcel No. 1 -
<br />Situated in the Township of Olmsted, County of Cuyahoga
<br />and -State of Ohio, and known as being all of Sublots Nas.
<br />1-D thru 54-D, inclusive, part of Sublots Nos. 55-D thru
<br />58-D all of Chadbourne Drive, part of Dorchester Drive,
<br />part of Warrington Drive, part of Wellington Drive, and
<br />part of Huntington Drive, in Bretton Ridge Subdivision No.
<br />4, of part of Original Olmsted Township Lot No. 9, Tract
<br />No, 6 as shown by the recorded•plat in Volume 195 of
<br />Maps, Page 36 of Cuyahoga County Records, and part of
<br />Sublots Nos. 7S-C, 88-C and 89-C in Bretton Ridge
<br />Subdivision No. 4-A as shown by the recorded plat in
<br />Volume 195 of Maps, Page 52 ofCuyahoga County Records
<br />and together forming a parcel of land bounded and described
<br />as follows:
<br />Beginning on the center line of Stearns Road, 60 feet wide,
<br />at a stone at the intersection of said center line with the
<br />Northerly line of said Original Lot No. 9;
<br />Thence South 04° 19' 00" West along said center line of
<br />Stearns toad, 343.66 feet to a point;
<br />Thence North 85° 41" 00" West, 230.00 felt to a point;
<br />• Thence South 04° 19' 00" West, 190.00 feet to a point;
