Q2 ENTITLED <br />Et 1~'ITL.ED "TO~PIIDHIBIT ""BY AD 0~~~'kZAATA ~t~~ATS;'~`~ <br />BOTH SIDES, FROM DOVER CENTER READ EAST TO <br />WHITEHORN AVENtJ~, AT ALL TIMES", AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, the parking of vehicles on both sides of Lorain Road <br />between Dover Center Road and Whitehorn Avenue within the City of North <br />Olmsted has caused serious traffic hazards thereby preventing the Police aasd <br />Fire Dep~ertments of the City of North Olmsted from efficiently carrying out !heir <br />duties; and <br />WHEREAS, the parking of vehicles on both sides of Lorain Road betwa~r{ <br />Dover Center Road and Whitehorn Avenue within the City of North Olrr-sted has <br />prevented the Service Department from cleaning the street and also from rernovinq <br />snow from the street; and <br />WHEREAS, it is ds~emed advisable by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted for the protection of the residents of the City of North Olmsted and in order <br />to facilitate the cleaning of the both sides of Lorain Read between Dover Csttsr <br />lluati and Whitehorn Avenue and the removal of snow from said street by the $~vpa <br />II~spartment that parkin be prohibited on both sides of Lorain Road frr~m Dover Cep <br />Road East to Whitshorn Avenue, at all times, <br />NOW, THSIt£FORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, Counly of ~rahoga and State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: <br />That Title 7 , t r. 3 51 S® 1 13 ~-t ed <br />TO PROW Lx,~1t~~A ~'Ni TH <br />SIDES FROM DOVER CENTER 1gAD EAST TO WHITEHORN <br />AVENUE, AT ALL TIMES" read as follows: <br />~tpP> 5'i'Ni~A, GR ~AltK <br />"No person shall P~ a vehicle on either side of Lorain <br />Road from Dover Center Read East to Whitehorn Avenue , <br />at any time" <br />Section 2: That the Traffic Control File, Title 7, Chapter 351, <br />be amended to add Section 351.13. <br />Section 3: That a certified copy of this Ordinance be delivered to the <br />Pblica Department of the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 4: That the Director of Public Service and Public Safety be and <br />he is hereby authorized and directed to erect street .signs in accordance thereto. <br />Section 5: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and <br />welfare, by virtue of the traffic conjestion which endangers vehicular traffic within <br />the areas enumerated above.
