i <br />1 <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 66-199 <br />BY <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLATION <br />OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON PERMANENT PARCEL N0. 231-1-40 <br />BEING AN ASSESSMENT FOR SIDEt~?ALK CONSTRUCTION <br />• AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />• <br />1 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Auditor of the <br />City of North Olmsted, Ohio, t~~ thf, Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the <br />construction of a sidewalk <br />WHEREAS, Mary and Adelbert Toth of Noreen Drive <br />have pa i d the sum of $ 425.52 i r, pays>>Fnt ~,f sa i d spec i a I assessments , i n advanc¢~ <br />fOr the tax years i~66 through 1~ 69 inclusive, together with accrued intsre~t <br />levied thereon against Permanent Par<~1 Nu~ 231-1-40 in the City of MQrth <br />Olmsted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, Sta g: of Ohio: <br />Section l; That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to cancel for the years 19 66 through 19 69 inrluslve <br />assessments in full for, sidewalk construction <br />Section 2: That the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted <br />is hereby authorized and directed to receive payment in advance on such <br />assessments for the period 19 66 through )9 69 inclusive, amounting to <br />s 425.52 on said parcel. <br />Section 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward <br />an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. <br />Section 4: Wherefore, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health <br />and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue <br />of the necessity of cancelling the special assessments or, Permanent Parcel <br />Np, 231-1-40 fur sidewalk construction <br />Section 5: Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately <br />from and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: <br />ATT EST <br />Ma~~aret '. w~~~ <br />APPROVED: <br />t <br />President of Council <br />~ (~: c> T ~ ~... <br />i:erK of Counci. <br />,` <br />t <br />alph E.
