AN EMERGENCY . <br />BE IT ORDd1INF.D by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State <br />oP Ohio: <br />Section 1. That the assessment of the cost and expense of con- <br />structing sidewalks in the City of North Olmsted on Stearns Road from Olmsted ` <br />Township to Lorain Road, McKenzie Road from Olmsted Township to Lorain Road, <br />Kennedy Ridge Road from Butternut Ridge Road to Great Nortr~ern Boulevard, <br />Columbia Road (west side} from Butternut Ridge to a connection of sid~n+alks <br />existing on July 7, 1964 in the area of Columbia Road and. Mastick Road, the <br />unsidewe.lked portions as of July '(, 1964 of the south side of Maple Ridge <br />Road east of Walter Road to Clague Road, the unsidewalked area as of July 7, <br />1964 on the south side of Lorain Road from a point east of Barton Road <br />Easterly to the Fairview Park line, and the portions of Coe Avenue north of <br />Elm Road that did not have sidewalks as of July 7, 1964, in accordance with <br />Resolution No. 64-1,22, amounting i.n the aggregate to $59,`757.86, as reported <br />to this Council on the 12th day of July, 1965, but with the changes and cor- <br />rections determined by this Council to be proper, notice of the filing of <br />which assessments has been given as required by law, be and the same is hereby <br />adopted and confirmed, and that there be and are hereby levied and assessed <br />upon the lots and lands bounding acid abutting upon said improvement the several. <br />amounts reported and changed and corrected as aforesaid, which assessments <br />and the description of said lots and lands are now on file in the office of <br />the Clerk of this Council and which assessments are r.ot in excess of the <br />special benefits, and are not in excess of any statutory limitation. <br />Section 2. That the total assessment against each lot or parcel <br />of land shall be payable in cash within thirty (30) days from and after the <br />passage of this ordinance, or, at the option of the owner, in five (5) <br />annual installments with interest at the same rate as shall be borne by the <br />bonds to be issued in anticipation of the collection of the same. All cash <br />payments shall be made to the Director of Finance of said City. All assess- <br />ments and installments thereof remaining unpaid at the expiration of said <br />thirty (30) days shall be certified by the Clerk of this Council to the <br />County Auditor as provided by law to be placed by him on the tax duplicate <br />and collected as other taxes are collected. ~~, <br />.,r <br />Section 3. That the Clerk of this Council shall cause a notice <br />of the passage of this ordinance to be published once in a newspaper of general <br />circulation in this City and to continue on file in his office said assess- <br />ments . <br />Section 4. The Clerk of this Council is hereby directed to deliver <br />a certified copy of this ordinance to the County Auditor within twenty (20} <br />days after its passage. <br />
