CITY OF Nt~:ZTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 66- l~ <br />BY <br />.Y~I <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE <br />A CONTRACT WITI~i THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONER: <br />OF CU`~'AHOGA COLrNTY, OH1O, WITH RESPECT TO A <br />COMPREHENSIVE REGIONAL Pi~AN FOR TRANSPORTATION, <br />LAN l~ L?SE AN P FACILIT? l;S I`O R THE CLEVELAND SEVF?~T <br />COUNTY REGION AND D='r"i,Afti(v'~ A~1 E':~ERCENGY <br />n <br />LJ <br /> <br /> <br />V~HEREAS, Council by Resolution t~'o. 65-262 has authorized the <br />Mayor to apply to the Ohio Development Department of the State of Ohio for <br />a TO1 Community Assistance Pro:; ram grant from the Housing and 1-.fumes <br />Finance Agency of the United States Government; and <br />WHEREAS, Council by Resolution No. 65-3i5 has certified the <br />availability of $8.167.00 which represents North Olmsted's share of finds <br />allocated far the cast of a comprehensive comrrfur,ity Alan; and <br />~~NHEREAS, Council has f.~.een advised of all ,:he tern~~s and conditiarx <br />of the cont.-act to be entered into ~~e~tween the City of N:~rth, Olmsted and the <br />Board of Count~;~ ~;ommissioners of '"~l°.-ahoga County with re~,pe~~,t `o the <br />comprehensive regional plan. <br />lv'OW, THEREFCIRE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council o~€the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of C_~hio; <br />Section I; That the Mayor be and he is authorized to execute a <br />contract with the Board of County Commissioners of Cuyahoga Caunt~F , Ohio; <br />with respect to a comprehensive regional plan for transportation, land use and <br />facilities for the Cleveland Seven County Region, a c«py of which Is attached <br />hereto, incorporated herein and marked "Exhibit A" . <br />Section 2; That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergerzc~,F' <br />measure necessary for the pregez~~atior. of the public peace ` healt;_, safet-;~' aF~d <br />welfare of the City by virtue of the necessity that the development of the <br />City proceed in an orderly manner as rapidly as possible.
