COOK, OF <br />THE OBJECTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, OHIO, TO APPLICATIONS No. H65325 AND 7406841 <br />IN THE NAME OF RIVEREDGE APARTMENTS, INC. AND DECLAR- <br />ING AN EMERGENCY. <br />i <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 4303.27, of the Ohio Revised <br />Code the North Olmsted Legislative Authority was notified of applications <br />#H-65325 fora D-3 permit and #7406841 fora D=5 permit in the name of <br />Riveredge Apartments, Inc., 22989 Lorain Road, North Olmsted, Ohio, and <br />WHEREAS, Section 4303.261 of the Ohio Revised Code provides <br />for the Legislative Authority to object to the issuance of an application <br />fora liquor permit within thirty days of the date of the notification of <br />such application. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section I: That the Council of the City of North Olmsted, <br />Ohio does hereby exercise its right to object to the issuance of a D-3 <br />permit applied for under application #H-65325 and a D-5 permit applied for <br />under application #7406841 by Riveredge Apartment, Inc., 22989 Lorain Road, <br />North Olmsted, Ohio, and does direct the Clerk of Council to send by <br />certified mail: <br />(I) Two certified copies of this Resolution of <br />objection; and <br />(2) Two signed statements in writing, li-sting the <br />reasons for the objections, <br />and prays that the Department of Liquor Control set a time and date for <br />a member of this Council to be heard on this matter. <br />_ Section 2: WHEREFORE, this Resolution is de~~~rmined to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public <br />welfare of the City by virtue of the fact that the Revised Code of Ohio pro- <br />vides for the Legislative Authority to object to the issuance of an applica- <br />tion, WHEREFORE, this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its <br />passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: ( .Jo <br />TEST: <br />N/ <br />Margaret T West, Clerk of Council <br />APPROVED: ~ ~~ "~lG L,~ <br />;, <br />.. <br />~, . <br />Francis J.
