CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 66 - <br />BY: ' 1~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE TO CHANGE APPROPRIATIONS AND TO <br />TRANSFER APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRENT EXPENSES AND. <br />OTHER EXPENDITURES FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />OHIO, FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1966, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That to provide for current expenses and other <br />expenditures of the said City of North Olmsted during the year ending <br />December 31, 1966, the following sums be and they are hereby set aside <br />and appropriated as follows: <br />Section 2. That there be transferred from the GENERAL FUND <br />to the SERVICE FUND the sum of $305,850.00 and that there be appropriated <br />from said SERVICE FUNfl the following: <br />STREET REPAIRS ~ MAINTENANCE <br />Labor $37,500.00 <br />Grand Total General Fund $1,007,837.00 <br />Section 3. That the Finance Director be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to transfer appropriations as follows: <br />STREET MAINT~,ENANCE FUND <br />$8,500 from Repairs by Contract to Labor <br />Section 4. That the Finance Director is hereby authorized to <br />draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the foregoing <br />appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefor, <br />• approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an <br />Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that <br />no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons <br />employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided <br />further, that the appropriations for contingencies can only be expended upon <br />approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a <br />legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered <br />by the specific appropriations herein made. <br />Section 5. That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward <br />an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County.. <br />Section 6.
