~ c~ITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 66~ / FACE 2 <br />-. <br />"Section 2: That the City Engineer shall be appointed by the <br />Mayor subject to confirmation by a majority vote of Council. "" <br />be and the same is hereby amended to react as follows; <br />r <br />Section 2: That the City Engineer shad be appointed by the Mayor <br />subject to confirmation by a majority vote of Council at an annual salary of <br />Sa, 200. ~+~. <br />Section 3: The Engineer or any of his employees shall not engage in <br />any engineering services for private developers who are developing areas in the <br />City of North Olmsted or any areas which abut the areas of the City of North <br />Olmsted or who have just completed developing areas in the City of North Olmsted <br />within a period of one ~1) year from the date said engineer severs services with <br />the City of North Olmsted, unless said engineer receives permission, in <br />writing, from a committee composed or the Mayor, President. of Council, Director <br />of Finance, Director of Public Service and Public Safety and the Director of Law, <br />Said committee shall act upon any .request to perforrr~ the prc,hibitive services <br />within 30 days after receiving a written request from the enc~ineer, <br />• <br /> <br />Section 4: That this Ordinance is hereby deterrn:ined to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, <br />safety and welfare of the City by virtue of the necessity of making said positio;x <br />and salary effective January l., 196.
