Seltzer. d' <br />44',� <br />An Ordinance <br />To prohibit the use of.siren end bright lights on street cars or interurban <br />cars in the Village of North Olmsted, <br />Be it ordained by the Council of the Villoge of North Olmsted, County <br />of Cuyahoga, and State of Ohio:- <br />Section 1.,. Whoever beinm the motorman or person in charge of a street <br />car or interurban car operating in the Village of North Olmsted, County of <br />Cuyahoga and State of Ohio uses a siren unless said car'.is in imminent danger <br />of colliding with another vehicle, object or a person shall be guilty of a <br />misdemeanor upon conviction whereof he shall be fined not less than five,dolla s <br />(05.00) or more than a hundred dollars ($100.00) for each offense, <br />Section 2. Whoever being the motorman or person in,,charge of an electric <br />street car or interurban car passing through the Village of North Olmsted uses <br />a high powered head light on said street car or interurban car shall,be guilty <br />of a misdemeanor upon.conviction whereof he.shall be fined not less than five <br />dollars 05.00) or more than a -hundred dollars ($100.00) for each offense. <br />Section 3. It is hereby declared that an emergency exists in this; that <br />in order to preserve the peace of the Village it is necessary.that this, <br />ordinance take effect on its passage. <br />Section 4,:. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and <br />after its passage. <br />Read the first time November 6,,1928* <br />moved by Mr. Stine seconded by mr. Seltzer that the statutory rule be <br />suspended and that Ordinance No. 262 be read''immediately. the second and third <br />times and put upon its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as <br />follows : - Biddulph, Bidwell, Christman, Schindler,'.Seltzer, Stine. <br />Thereupon the Ordinance was read the second and third times and put upon its <br />passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows:- Biddulph, Bidwell, <br />Christman. Schindler. Seltzer. Stine. <br />
