<br />.Gr,anting to the Cleveland Southwestern Railvray and Light Company, its

<br />Section 1. That the Cleveland Southwestern rzlltiv�y and ,b

<br />its successors and a,ssi,,ns,..be and it'is hereby granted the right to erect,
<br />construct, maintain, extend and use" the necessary poles, 1:1res, conduits
<br />and such other fixtures and 'appliances' overhead and undcrgrourf�, as may'
<br />be- deemed by'lt necessary or,essential to enable-it to transmit electricity
<br />through rtnd alonZ the streets, alleys, llighways' and public places of the
<br />Village; of - .Torth Olmsted, for the purpose of furnishing and supplying electric
<br />service to the inhabitants and citizens thereof in all residences and other
<br />buildings of all kinds,.character and description within the lizAts of said
<br />11uni.cipality, as vrell as for the lighting of the streets, alleys, highn'rays
<br />and public places of said Village.
<br />Said Company is possessed ulth the authority,, during .the, life of this
<br />franchise, to change, alter, improve, extend,'construct, reconstruct and
<br />maintain its system as, from time to time, it or its successors and assigns
<br />may deem advisable'*
<br />Section 29 The righ4-s, privileges and franchise hereby given and
<br />Granted shall be vested in, held and enjoyed by said The Cleveland South
<br />vrestern Railway. and Light Company, its successors -and assibns,`for a period
<br />of yaenty -five (25) years from and after the date of the passage of this
<br />Ordinance, the legal publication thereof, and its acceptance by,The Cleve-
<br />land "outllvrestern Railway and Light Corpuny. .
<br />Section 3. The wires strung and maintained on said poles shall be
<br />placed and maintained not loss than tvwenty (20) feet abovo the grade, of
<br />the streets, alleys and 111.911�ways of said Ville ;e. izll, poles shall..be so ,
<br />placed and t.aintained as not to obstruct.public travel on said streets,
<br />highways, alleys ar. public, places or to interfere With drainage, inter
<br />system or sewers of the Village.
