<br />An Ordinance
<br />To levy special. assessments. for, the. improrrement of Alexander. Road from_Clague
<br />Road to a point 2457.2 feet easterly therefrom in the Village of North Olmste,
<br />by grading, draining.and slagging same.
<br />Be it ordained by the Council_ of, the Village. of North Olmsted, County of
<br />Cuyahoga and State of Ohio:
<br />Section 1. That the assessment.cf.the cost and expense of improving
<br />Alexander Road.from Clague Road to a poitn 2457.2 feet easterly.therefrom in
<br />the Village of North Olmsted, by.grading, draining and•slagging same,.amount-
<br />ing in the. aggregate to Eight _Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty and nO/100. Dollar
<br />(08880.00) as reported to this council on the . i day of March, 1927, by
<br />the Village. Engineer, notice of. the filing .ofw icassesement has beon . g�ven
<br />as required by law, be and the same is.hereby adopted and confirmed, and that
<br />there be and'is hereby.levied upon the lots and.lands. bounding and abutting
<br />upon said improvement, the seTeral.amouuts reported as aforesaid, which asses
<br />meats, together with the description of said'lote and lands, are now on.file
<br />in the office.of the Clork.of this Council, and which.assessments are at the
<br />rate of $1985 per front foot, and are not in excess of the special benefits
<br />to said property.
<br />Section.2. That the total assessment against each lot or parcel of land
<br />shall be payable in cash within thirty days from.hhd after the passage of.thi
<br />ordinance, or, at the option of the openers, in five (5) annual installments
<br />with interest at the rate.of.five and one -half (5 -1/2 %) per cent per annum.
<br />111 cash payments shall.be made to the treasurer of.said Village., All assess.
<br />rents and installments thereof remaining.unpaid.at.the expiration of said
<br />thirty days shall.be certified by the Clerk.of_ this Council.to the County
<br />Auditor, as provided by law, to be by him placed on the tax duplicate and col,
<br />looted as other taxes are collected.
<br />Section 3.. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
<br />after the earliest period allowed by law.
