<br />To levy special 4ssessments for the improvement of Burns'Road for tle entire

<br />Be it ordained by the Council of the Village of North 0]rs1.- ed ' , County
<br />of Cuyahoga and State of. Ohio:
<br />Section 1. That the assessment of the cost and expense of improving
<br />Burns Road for the entire length o£ said road
<br />d b y grading, draining and slagging, same
<br />in 'accordance with the plans and specifications therefor, amounting in the
<br />aggregate to eighteen Thousai.>d Throe
<br />Eighteen Furxired•Fofty Fo ur and: 86f100 Dollars 18,344•8 f)
<br />as reported to this council on the day of 1�� --�: , 19 ?,,i5i ,
<br />4, by the Village Engineer, notice of-the filing .of vrhich assessment has been
<br />given.as required by lavr, be and the same is hereby adopted and confirmLed,
<br />and that there be and is hereby levied upon the lots and lands bounding and
<br />�x abutting upon said improvement, the several amounts reported as aforesaid,
<br />.y which assessments, together with the description of said.lots and lands, {
<br />are now on file in the office of.the Clerk of,this Council, and which assess-
<br />ments are at the rate of $ 2,4087 per foot front, and are not in excess of a
<br />the special benefits to said property.
<br />Section 29 That the total assessment against each lot or parcel of land
<br />e
<br />shall be payable in cash within thirty (30) days from and after the passage
<br />g
<br />of this ordinance, or, at the option of the'owner,,in five annual install-
<br />ments with interest at the.rate of 5-1/2 per cent`'per annum, All cash pay -"
<br />ments shall be made to the treasurer of said Village. All assessments and j
<br />installments thereof remaining unpaid at the expiration 'of.said. thirty days
<br />shall be certified by the Clerk of this Council to.the County,' Auditor, as
<br />provided by lavr,.to be by him placed?on the tax 'duplicate and.collected as
<br />other taxes are collected*
<br />Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in,force from and
<br />after the earliest period allowed by law:
