North An Ordinance. ,.To levy special assessments for'the- improvement of Summerland,Avenue From Claque Road to the easterly limits of the Village by grading., draining and constructing a. sandstone or concrete sidewalk on both sides thereof. Be it ordained by the`. Council` of` "the Village of North Olmsted, County of Cuyahoga and State.of`Ohio :- ^(X ' "Section.l. That the assessment of the cost and expense of C improving Swmerland Avenue from Clague Road to the easterly limits '' of the Villages by constrinting sidewalk on both sides thereof �in accordance witli the plans and specifications therefor, amount -. ing in the aggregate to Two Thousand One 'Hundred Twenty - .Eight and 19 100''D011ars ($2j,128.19) as reported to:this council on the day of '— ::, 192 ,'by _the Village Engineer,. notice of the filing of which assessment has been given as required by law, be and the same is horeby adopted and confirmed, and that there be and is hereby leviod'upon the -lots and-'lands bounding and abutting upon- said :improvement, the several amounts reported as aforesaid, which assessments, together with the description'of said lots and lands, are now - on'file in the offico of the Clerk of this Council, and which assessments are at the rate of $ .93772 per.foot front,, and are not in excess of the special benefits o said property. Section 2. That the total assessment against each lot or'par- cel' of land shall' -be payablo in cash within thirty (30) days from . and after the passage-of-this ordinance, or, at the option of the owner, in ten annual installments with interest at the • rate of five aiz one-. a r per cent . per annum. . All cash payments shall be made to the treasurer of'said Village. All assessments . and installments thereof remaining unpaid at the expiration of said thirty days shall be-certified by the Clerk of this Council to the County Auditor, as provided'by law, to be by him placed on the 'tax duplicate and collected as other -taxes are collected. Section 3, This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
