<br />An Ordinance.

<br />To- levy special assessments for the improvement of Grace Road from
<br />Mastick Road to Elm Road in the _Village of North Olmsted by grading.,
<br />$ draining and slagging same. .

<br />K� Be it,ordained by the Council of the Village of North Olmsted,
<br />County,of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio: -
<br />Section 1. That the assessment of the cost and expense of
<br />improving grace Road from Mastick Road to Elm Road
<br />by Grading.' draining and slagging same
<br />in accordance with the plans an specifications therefor,.amount-
<br />ing in the aggregate to Eight, Thousand Nine Hundred Ten and
<br />42 100 Dollars 08,910.42 .,. as reported
<br />To this council on the 7th day of May 1929=.v by
<br />the Village Engineer,`no --� of the i ang of which assessment has
<br />been given as required bylaw,,be and the`same is hereby adopted
<br />and confirmed, and that there be and is hereby ^levied upon the lots
<br />and lands bounding and abutting upon said improvement, tho soveral
<br />amounts reported as'aforesaid -which as.'sessments, together with the
<br />t description of said lots',and lands, are now on file in the office
<br />of the Clerk of`this'Council$ and which'assessments'are at the rate
<br />of 0 2,31&!,-, per foot front, . and are not in excess of the special_
<br />bens l s to said property.
<br />Section 2.'' That the total assessment against each lot or par-
<br />cel of land shall be payable in cash within thirty (30) days from
<br />and after the'' passage of this ordinance, `or, • at the option of the'`
<br />owner, in five annual installments with interest at the
<br />rate of ,firs and one -half per cent per annum. All cash payments
<br />shall`be made to the treasurer of said Village. All assessments,
<br />and installments thereof remaining unpaid at the.expiration of said
<br />thirty days shall be, certified by the Clerk of this Council to the
<br />County Auditor., as provided by law, to be by him placed.on the tax
<br />duplicate and collected as other_taxe's are collected.
<br />Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force,
<br />from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
<br />Read the first time J 1 1929.

<br />that the statutory rule bo suspended and that Ordinanc© No
<br />be read immediately the second and third times and put upon items`
