No. 3 Ord. 732 <br />TOTAL APPROPRIATIONS .............y p"67,227.0? <br />Section 17. And the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to draw <br />his warrants on the Village Treasurer for payments from any of the <br />foregoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and <br />vouchers therefore, approved by the board or officers "authorized <br />by law to approve same, or an ordinance or resolution of Council <br />to make the expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn <br />or Paid for salaries or wages except to persons employed by <br />authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided <br />further, that the appropriation for contingencies can only be <br />expended upon approval of two- thirds vote of Council for items <br />Of expense constituting a legal obligation against the Village <br />nd for purposes other than those covered by the other specific <br />appropriations herein made. <br />Section 18. That this ordinance is bereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure, in that it relates to the public health <br />safety and welfare, and to the usual daily operation of the <br />several municipal departments of the Village of North Olmsted, <br />and shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. <br />PASSED Jan. 6, 1948 <br />Attest <br />—Z <br />tee Christman, - <br />Zez,� <br />L.
