I <br />I <br />By Mr. Lewis <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />PROHIBITING THROUGH TRUCKS FROMi DRIVING ON : TEMPORARY STATE <br />ROUTE_ -NO, 17 'WITHIN THE .VILLAGE OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO. <br />BE IT - ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of North <br />Olmsted, Ohio: <br />Section 1. DEFINITIONS: For the purpose -of this <br />ordinance, - <br />A truck,.is defined as follows: Every motor vehicle <br />except trailers and semi- triilers designed and used to carry <br />property. <br />Motor Vehicle. Every vehicle propelled or drawn by <br />power other.than muscular power or power collected from over- <br />head electric trolley wires, except road rollers,.traction <br />engines, power shovels, power .cranes and other equipment used <br />in construction work and not designed for or employed . in <br />general highway transportation, hole digging machinery, well <br />drilling machinery, ditch digging. machinery, _farm machinery, <br />threshing machinery, hay, baling machinery, and agricultural <br />tractors and machinery. used in the production of horticultural, <br />floricultural, agricultural and vegetable products. <br />A "Through Truck" is a' truck whose point of origination <br />is outside of the Village of North Olmsted and whose point of <br />destination is outside the Village of North Olmsted and said <br />truck is not stopping to make deliveries or pickup material <br />in the Village of North Olmsted. <br />Section 2. From and -after October 1, 19500 and ,when <br />signs have been erected giving notice thereof, no driver of <br />a "Through Truck« shall .drive said truck on Temporary State <br />Route No. 17 within the Village of North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Secticn 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating <br />the provisions' of this ,ordinance , shall, upon conviction thereof., <br />3 be fined not to exceed $50,00. <br />Section 4.
