Resolution No. 1047 $y Mr. Stentz A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND C NRK TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT 17ITH TRANSIT ADVERTISING COItiIPANY• BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of North Olmsted, Ohio: Section 1. That the I,2ayor and Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Jack S traus,doing business as Transit Advertising Company,'providing for the placing of advertising in the municipal busses, for which the Transit Advertising Company will pay the Village fifteen per cent of the gross income derived from the sale of said advertising, said sum to be payable to the Village of North Olmsted in monthly payments as and when the same are received by said Transit Advertis- ing Company. Said agreement shall contain the provision that if at the end of a six months , period not more than fifty per cent of the advertising space in said busses has been sold and is being used, then the Village shall have the right to cancel the contract upon sixty days+ notice but any advertising-then in-said busses for which the Village has been paid its fifteen per cent shall be allowed to remain in said busses during the term for which said advertising was sold. Said contract shall continue for a period of two years from date thereof provided more than fifty per cent of the advertising space in said busses is sold at the end of the first six monthst period, otherwise the Village shall have the right to cancel the contract. Said contract shall be renewed for an additional period of two years providing the said Transit Advertising Company has carried out the terms of its agreement and that at least seventy -five percent of the space available for advertising in the busses has been filled during the operation of said agreement. Section 2. This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by law. )er 17, 1939. or
