Resolution No. <br />By mr <br />A RESOLUTION <br />ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF SILER, CARPENTER & ROOSE TO <br />PURCHASE, AT PAR AND ACCRUED INTEREST, $18,000.00 <br />TAX DEFICIENCY NOTES OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH OLMSTED. <br />WHEREAS the Sinking Fund Trustees have <br />rejected the $18,000.00 Tax Deficiency.Notes to be <br />issued by the Village of North Olmsted, and <br />WHEREAS Siler, Carpenter & Roose have <br />offered to purchase said notes at par,and accrued <br />interest from date of said notes to _ date of delivery, <br />and <br />WHEREAS this'Council desires to accept. <br />said offer, <br />NUN, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the <br />Council of the Village of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga <br />County, Ohio <br />Section 1. That the offer of Siler, <br />Carpenter & Roose to purchase, at par and accrued <br />interest the $18,000.00 Tax Deficiency Notes, dated <br />April 1, 1939, 4 -1/2% interest, maturing one year <br />after date, to be issued in anticipation of the issu- <br />ance of a like par amount of bonds, be and the same <br />is hereby accepted, and said notes are awarded to <br />Siler, Carpenter & Roose. <br />Section 2. This resolution is hereby <br />declared to be an emergency .measure, the emergency <br />being that it is necessary for the i=ediate preserva- <br />tion of public peace, health, safety and welfare; and <br />therefore this resolution shall take effect and be in <br />force from and after its passage. <br />Passed: April 4, 1939. <br />Clerk Mayor <br />
