<br />11inute-s of an Adjourned meeting of the Council of the
<br />Village of North Olmsted, Ohio.
<br />Present were Dr. C. B. Lewis, Mayor, E. Baumgardner, R. Biddulph,
<br />H. K. Bidwell, F. Crider, Wm. H. Krainer, Dan Ror,sp.
<br />The minutes of Dec. 20th 1949 vrere read and approved.
<br />The Solicitor administered the Oath of Office to IvLr. Ben Scott
<br />as Councilman and Mr. Dave Hansen as Treasurer.
<br />According to advertisement in Suburban News the following
<br />bids were received; for a nevr 'Police Car and sale -of the
<br />PYZercury Police Car;

<br />Resolution #1596 vias introduced`by Mr. Crider. A Resolution
<br />accepting the bids of J. R. Dall Ford Sales for the furnish-
<br />ing of a new car for the Police Department and the purchase
<br />of the old Niercury now used by the Police Departrnent. Moved
<br />and seconded that the,statutory rule be suspended and the
<br />resolution be read immediately the second and third times
<br />and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on sa3d motion
<br />was as follows., Baumgardner, Biddulph, Bidvrell,Crider, Kramer,
<br />Romp. Thereupon the resolution vias read the second and third
<br />times and put upon its passage and the affirmative vote thereon
<br />svas as follows., Baumgardner, Biddulph, Bidwell, Crider, Kra.mer,
<br />Romp.

<br />accepting the bid of Cooper Construction Co., for the installa-
<br />tion of a water main in Silverdale Road, from Lorain Road:to
<br />the north line of Sublat 29. rlloved and seconded that the
<br />statutory rule be suspended and the resolution be read
<br />immediately the second and third times and put on its passage.

<br />Warren 24009 Lorain Road requested permission to put up a
<br />, Neon Candy si4n. Permission vias granted.
<br />Permission Vras rEquested to have a turkey farm on Glague Road
<br />between Lorain &'Mastick Roads. Being in a residence district,
<br />? permissian was refused.
