H. rframer, Dan Ror;ip. . <br />The minutes of Nov. 15th and 29th vJere read and 'approved. <br />uir. 11olnar requested some cinders on Andrus Ave. &:oved by <br />Mr. Biddulph seconded by 11r. Crider that the Mayor and Clerk <br />be authorized to have a car of cinders put on Andrus Ave. <br />"yeassr t3aum;ardner, Biddulph, Bidwell, Crider, Kramer, Romp. <br />Mr. PJtolnar requested that lots 25, 26, 115, 116, 117, 118 <br />and 119 on the Boulevard be rezoned from single residence <br />to multi.ple residence, in order to build multiple resiciences <br />on these lots. Moved by Mr. Baumgaraner seconded by bir. Crider <br />that the Solicitor prepare the necessary legislation to rezone <br />the above mentioned lots. "Yeas" Bawngardner, Biddulph, Bidtrtrell, <br />Crider, Kramer, Romp. <br />PAr. Luke and 1.7r. Gohlke of the C. E. I11. Co., requested a <br />te:nporary permit to erect a 5 by 51 building to house a <br />transformer, and a perm3.teto erect a permanent building for <br />a transformer station to be built of brick and block. They <br />also stated that the 33,000 volt line viould not interfere <br />"rith radio or telivision. <br />Moved by ;vir. Bidwell seconded by T,4r. 't3iddulph that a permit <br />for a temporary building and a permit for a permanent building <br />to house transformers be granted the C. E. I11. Co., and the <br />permanent building be?built within 6 months. "Yeas" Bau.rnZardner, <br />Biddulph, Bidwell, Crider, I;ramer, Romp. <br />Mr. John Loser and Tvir. Conrad Loser requested.that their 353 plus <br />feet on Lorain Road be rezoned from residence to business. <br />Moved and seconded that the rezoning of the Loser property be <br />referred to the Planning Coin..?ission. "Yeas" Baumgardner, <br />Biddulph, Bidwell, Crider, Kramer, Romp. <br />Comnunication wAS received from John Loser and Conrad Loser <br />protesting the Dover Road water improvement, in that their <br />470 feet on Dover Road is opposite the mammoth water tank <br />nova under construction, making their land obsolete for <br />residential purposes, and that the conteinplated assessrient <br />for the water main tivould bring them no benefit, but would <br />create a tax burden. They also stated their pover Road <br />fronta?e ?vith the exception of 20 feet is for sale. <br />I4r• Biddulph stated that the ZoninZ Board of Appeals had <br />considered the Ed DeVine house and reported that the concensus <br />of opinion vras that the House vras out of proportion for a <br />40 foot lot. <br />Yir• Kramer, Chairman of the Planning Commission stated that <br />the Planning Commission recommended that the land on both sides <br />of Lorain Road, from the Fairview line to Columbia Road be changed <br />from residence district to a retail bu,-?iness district. <br />Ordinance #784 was introduced by Prir. I?ramer. An Ordinance <br />to ainend the Zone 11ap and ZoninG Ordinance of the Village of <br />North Olmsted by chan6irg from a residential district to a <br />retail business district the land on both sides of Lorain <br />Road, from the easterly Village limits to Colu_nbia Road, <br />the depth for business purposes to be the rcar property <br />13ne of the parcels fronting on Lorain Road or three hundred' <br />feet from the center line of Lorain Road, whichever is less. <br />Uaerabove Ordinance was given its first readinG only. <br />lir. Kramer stated that the Planning Commission recemanded <br />changins from residence to retail business 114 feet on Lorain <br />Road just vrest of the North Olmsted Lu.??ber Co.
